Colby’s experience is significant and varied. With 20 years of experience in real estate development and leasing, he is a trusted advisor in a variety of areas.

In 1997 Colby began his career in real estate with Hawkins Companies predecessor Hawkins- Smith as a leasing agent for company owned properties. In 1998 he was promoted to Development Partner with an assignment to develop new Walgreens drug store locations in the northwest. Since that time, Colby has developed 55 Walgreens stores in Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Washington and Alaska.

Colby is also experienced in multifamily and mixed use developments and currently has over 800 apartment units entitled and under construction or development. He also continues to work in retail multitenant, ground up and redevelopment work.

Colby is a native of Boise, Idaho. He graduated from Meridian High School and Northwest Nazarene College with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration.
